We are looking for great volunteers who are interested in helping out for the full 6-hour event. It's all hands on deck at the Great Raisin River Footrace, every volunteer plays a vital role in staging this beloved annual event, now back in its 42nd year!
Race day starts at 6 AM when volunteers arrive and begin setting up route markers, event stations, and information signs. Then everyone will head to their designated posts as the race-goers begin to arrive. Whether it's directing parking or traffic, manning a hydration station or helping at the race registration booths, every hand helps!
Strong organization, communication and teamwork skills are an asset. The perfect volunteer is going to be the one who arrives ready to go, digs right in, and cheers with the crowds all race long!Qualifications:
Children 12-13yrs (must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Good communication, able to spend time on your feet, First Aid and CPR an asset but not required
